Things my kids like to do in no particular order:
- Play with slime
- Play with Legos
- Make crafts
- Color
- Draw
- Play card games
This past year, Santa went a little DIY for Christmas.
Knowing that the Barlow kids enjoy all of these items above and often time take over the kitchen tables or kitchen island with their activities, Santa went to work trying to figure out the easiest, most inexpensive way to put an activity table together for them.
He purchased the following items:
A 40" Folding Table - Walmart $38
Lego Plates - Amazon $12
E6000 - Walmart $3
Santa knew that we already had a 4 pack of cushioned folding chairs in the garage so no expense was spared there, but it looks like Walmart may be one of the cheaper options for this if they need to be purchased.
From there it looks like he glued all 4 pieces of the lego plate on one side of the folding table with E6000, being careful not to let the glue press out and setting some patio pavers on top of the plates to ensure they're glued firmly. He probably let it sit like that for about 48 hours.
That's it. That's all there is to it.
On one side, the kids often create little Lego cities or plays.
On the other side, the kids use it to play with their slimes, color, make crafts and so forth.
The best part about it all? It folds up so easy for concealable, space saving storage.
Way to slay (dad jokes are abundant around here), Santa!
